Firefighters, Medics, Security Officers, Health & Safety specialists make up the First Intervention Team led by their Managing Director, Mr. Terry Hayes. Due to the closure of a large petrochemical plant in Essex, Terry Hayes decided to start a company utilising the specialist skills of the five Emergency Response Managers who were due to be made redundant.

They have established a fully equipped training and service centre on the Shell Haven site utilising all the various skills once relied on by the oil company. They have also incorporated other specialists into the team to provide the COMPLETE SERVICE in any aspect of the following: Fire, Health and Safety, Security, First Aid.

Between them they have years of experience. The FIT Team have all the equipment and facilities to offer all training,, supply of manpower, equipment and services, in all aspects of Fire, Security, Health and Safety, First Aid.

FIT can supply a complete Fire and emergency response teams with fully equipped appliances, in fact any type of emergency response team can be mobilised.

All FIT Instructors are fully qualified in their specialised fields and all carry training qualifications. All equipment service engineers are fully qualified in their specialised field.

The FIT Training center is an accredited Centre under various Awarding bodies. For example The HSE, Edexcel, SITO, Investors in people, ISO 90001 & 14001. etc.

FIT can offer all types of Emergency related training and services which now include Industrial Fire Fighting fully accredited by the British Fire Service Association to a very high standard using a purpose built Fire Training ground with excellent facilities.
